My natural history sculptures, and bas relief wall
plaques, are primarily of endangered animals, found in or around the UK, or ones
like the buzzard
which have made a comeback. I am working on several more wildlife sculptures
presently so do check regularly, there will be more soon.

studio after midnight and found myself surprising a brown hare; the first I'd
seen in more than 10 years here. I had forgotten how they zigzag as they run,
and being in a Devon lane with its high, verdant 'Cornish hedges' the hare was
unable to get out of the lane for a good half mile.

cross species symbiotic hunting relationship between the wolf and the raven,
which may well have enabled early humans to form a similar hunting relationship
with wolves. I'm looking forward to finding out if the wolves being

availability. These inquisitive creatures have been hunted to
extinction, and re-introduced, twice in the UK.

availability. These sometimes enormous creatures,
(a few as big as a small car), although rarely seen, swim in waters around the
British Isles feeding on jellyfish. Because
plastic bags look very much like jellyfish when floating in the water,
Leatherback turtles often ingest them. The turtles throats are cleverly designed
with lots of downward pointing spikes inside to keep the jellyfish inside their
stomachs, but also prevents the turtles from spitting out the plastic bags.

are in fact peaceful, rarely seen creatures, and I think, very beautiful.

Because of pollution, loss of habitat, acidification and reduced immunity to
disease and fungus attack, amphibians are under great threat worldwide.

availability. Not endangered due to their adaptability and great
skill at hunting. Never the less, I'm fascinated by the beauty and
intelligence of cephalopods.
The wall plaques can be hung from a hook or used as an architectural
feature in a wall and cemented permanently into place. They are weatherproof garden
sculptures and can be positioned to hang square on or diagonally in many
directions. The wire at the back is made from a mixture of polypropylene and
stainless steel which will not rust or rot if used outside.

All the sculptures
on this page are suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces, and all wall plaques
have my makers seal on the back. All these sculptures are weather resistant and
have been treated with a sealant to resist water penetration and so deter frost
damage. They should not however be placed directly
in water, particularly if there is any likelihood of the water freezing, as
this may damage them over time.
